Since 1987, Project C.U.R.E. has been delivering life-saving medical supplies to hospitals and clinics throughout the under-resourced world. We are the world’s largest distributor of donated medical relief – touching the lives of children and families in more than 130 countries. AHRMM VOLUNTEER DAY Please join us in saving lives by preparing medical supplies and equipment for shipments to hospitals and clinics in need around the world. In memoriam…

In loving memory, Michael D. Sporn. All of us at the Chicago Chapter of AHRMM are mourning the loss of a great friend, Michael. Michael was currently the Director of Supply Chain at Methodist Hospitals. His professional history included facilities such as Presence Health and West Suburban Medical Center. Michael D. Sporn age 59 of Des Plaines passed away November 23, 2018. Beloved husband of Cynthia 'Cindy' (nee Pelinski) for 30 years. Loving father of Joseph (fiancee Danielle Hepko) and Patrick (fiancee Erica Szaflarski). Fond brother of Susan Dodd, Gail Koske-Phillips, and Rider (Glen Rosen) Sporn. preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Barbara Sporn. Michael will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and canine friends. AHRMM is committed to engaging and supporting the next generation of healthcare supply chain leaders as early as possible to stem the tide of retirement and attrition and create a competent and sustainable workforce. Cultivating the new generation requires laying the groundwork to prepare the association and develop adequate programs and services that will help those newer to supply chain succeed at their profession. To facilitate development of the most thorough and inclusive program possible, we want to hear from as many young professionals as possible.
